Partner Terms
Version: 2026-09-02 · B2B draft. Please obtain final legal review before public production use.
1. Scope
These partner terms apply to operators who integrate HandAgeCheck for age verification on their own websites or offerings. The partner portal is intended for businesses and professional website operators.
2. Service description
HandAgeCheck provides technical age-check and return-flow logic. Verification may use hand images, technical status data and, where the result is unclear, an alternative document check. HandAgeCheck does not guarantee permanent availability of individual AI providers or external payment services.
3. Partner obligations
The partner is responsible for its website, content, age ratings, legal notices, privacy information, consent flows and correct technical integration. The integration must not be modified in a way that bypasses security, return-flow or age-verification functions.
4. Permitted use and limits
HandAgeCheck may only be used for lawful offerings. Misuse, automated mass testing, bot traffic, circumvention attempts or use for third-party domains are prohibited. HandAgeCheck may apply rate limits, daily limits and protective blocks to protect servers, AI costs and other partners.
5. Prices, Prime and payments
Prices, terms and Prime slots are governed by the partner portal or individual agreements. Prime slots are website-specific. Activation occurs only after technical or administrative approval or after confirmed payment.
6. Data protection and processing
Depending on the use case, the partner may be controller and HandAgeCheck may be processor. In that case, a separate data processing agreement is required. Hand images are processed only for the stated purpose and removed according to the applicable retention and deletion rules.
7. Availability and maintenance
HandAgeCheck may perform maintenance, security updates and load-protection measures. Short interruptions, queue delays or overload rejections may occur where required for security, stability or cost control.
8. Liability
HandAgeCheck is liable under statutory law for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence, HandAgeCheck is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
9. Suspension and termination
HandAgeCheck may suspend individual websites or partner accounts if payments are overdue, misuse occurs, security risks arise or legal risks become apparent. Contract periods and termination terms are governed by the selected plan or individual agreement.
10. Changes
HandAgeCheck may amend these partner terms where technical, legal or economic reasons require this. Material changes will be communicated to partners in an appropriate manner.
11. Contact
Questions regarding contracts, invoices, data protection or integration can be submitted through the contact channels listed in the imprint or partner portal.
